DOS ain't dead

Denis Andrianov recently ported the latest (CVS?) version of the FTE (Folding Text Editor), 0.50.1, to DOS / DJGPP. The release date was 26 May 2007.

It's based on fte-20051115 source:

Denis tells me he has made minor changes and added better syntax highlighting for LaTeX files.

It's been a while ago, but CVS version should still build using DJGPP.

That's a little unclear to me: Did Denis use DJGPP (What else? ) or fte-20051115 or current CVS?

Right again, I was unclear. Maybe better (!) this time. v50.1 is fte-20051115 compiled with djgpp. There is later CVS, which I have not examined. But I did read the log entries, and they indicate only an _earlier_ addition of more support for Borland C++, nothing anywhere about any change in usability of djgpp.
