     | Is there somebody using Dougmenu? And is there somebody who could improve it? I got request from one user who would needed it.

 One of the underlying tools you'll see in action when using eGPU Setup 1.x is the Dougmenu menu system. A great piece of software but could certainly do with some enhancements. The author appears to have disappeared but I found source code for almost the latest. It's linked at the bottom of this post. I tried to get on the 'DOS Ain't Dead' forum to make a request but have not had approval for a login as yet.

 Perhaps something you can put out and see if anyone's interested in developing further? Some enhancements that I'd request being:

 * provide facility to remove the title, so menus can then sit at position (0,0). Now needs to sit at (0,3) due to the title.
 * ability to place window text without a surrounding window
 * menuitems that accept variable names rather than static text
 * gray out menuitems that are not applicatble
 * Allow > 24 line window size
 * radio select/check buttons

 Cheers,

 Nando

 Here's the reason, he didn't get an approval:

 I was able to build a whole application using Dougmenu as the backend to provide context sensitive help, variable menus and a user friendly menu to batch files and additional programs such as snarf, DOSZIP, and FreeDOS' fdhelp. It's very easy to do.

 Can download eGPU Setup 1.x devel version from here if want a closer look.

 Which is why I'd love it if someone would be willing to continue to develop Dougmenu. It appears to be abandonware.

 Wondering if anybody would like to further develop Dougmenu?
