usb drivers with MTP support (Users)

Hi all,

someone know if exist usb dos drivers with MTP protocol support?

I very doubt that it exists. You simply have to pull out the card and use standard mass strorage reader. Maybe Bret could add support to his USB stack but it's a lot effort for very few users...

I've personally never seen an MTP device, and I doubt very many other users have either. I also doubt that it will ever be very common to see devices that are formatted that way. There are actually a lot of disadvantages to it compared to standard block devices.

You can certainly write your own driver if you see a need, but it's probably not something I would pursue.

Unfortunly the most of new Smartphone use this stupid M$ standard for access to data saved in memory (images , sound, files etc.)
Its' a standard in Window$ phone system and in new win O.s. , so most of market it's M$ prone, i suspect this standard may be a new p.i.t.a for dos users in future.
Note : also on puppy linux the device it's not recognized , also loading mtplib.
Seem can be recognized from Ubunto...

LIBMTP in dos?

Hi all, i've found a mpt libraries can be solve (maybe?)the problem

This generate some executable like connect, and others ,for managing mtp device connect to usb port.
