DOS ain't dead

I have downloaded the ISO file for uDOS. Inside are a whole bunch of
ZIP files for what look to be LINUX ports. Looking inside the ISO with
IZARC it doesn't look to be bootable. Other than burning it to a CDDVD
what should I do?

Does anyone know what this is?

You mean official DJGPP stuff (mostly GNU, e.g. awk, grep) from /current/ or /beta/?

Delete it, it's too old (2006). Everything on there is probably outdated. If it works for you, good. But otherwise it's probably more reliable to check a local DJGPP (or FreeDOS) mirror for updated stuff.

A very old, unsupported, defunct, highly experimental, unofficial distribution of FreeDOS + DJGPP stuff that nobody ever widely used.

Not worth messing with, most likely.

I burned the ISO but it was not bootable.

I downloaded the file just to see if it was something interesting but not.

I checked out the two links you provided and downloaded about a 1/4 of it.
Of that about 40% has a chance of being potentially useful to me. This
doesn't mean I will put it in my bootable system but at a minimum it will
be stored on a USB so I can go get it at a later date say I might need it
in the future.
