MagicLatern: FreeDOS on Canon DLSR cameras (tiny8086.mo) (Announce)

Spotted the other day (no not an April fool despite being released on 1st April):

This one is real :P
(and the Linux port is real as well)

I just discovered the 8086tiny emulator - plain C source code, minimal dependencies, so I managed to compile it as a ML module, and now I'm running FreeDOS on the camera :)

Hehe, I see that. Unfortunatelly my old EOS 350D cannot run ML. And I moved to Pentax K-30 where the hacking is in the beginning and much smaller community. On the other hand I'm satisfied with rich Pentax FW features at basic so I don't have reason to hack but just for fun :)
