JSLinux (FreeDOS) + TinyCC 0.9.27 (Emulation)

Apparently Fabrice Bellard has updated his JSLinux Javascript x86 emulator to also support other OSes, including FreeDOS.

Also, TinyCC (tcc) has just been updated to 0.9.27, but I haven't tried its Win32 .EXEs under HX yet.

Apparently works same as before, "set DPMILDR=128" and put MSVCRT.DLL from old ReactOS 0.3.14 into /HX/BIN on your %PATH%.

TinyCC 0.9.27 + BusyBox-w32

Oso2k, I'm mainly posting this for your benefit. You seem to be interested in things like this. Sadly, I haven't tried it myself (neither natively under Windows nor under HX 2.18), but it certainly sounds promising.

In May, grischka wrote about uploading busybox-w32.

tcc-busybox-for-win32.zip (2 MB)

https://github.com/rmyorston/busybox-w32 (original upstream, just FYI)
