Hmm. Pity, was in Berlin (Lehrterstrasse) last weekend. Anyway, it didn't want to send the gin for wishlist items, so I did the USB stick

Yes, so I tried both and iirc I got something like "marketplace items can't be sent to Germany" in both cases. I then tried the stick and that went through.

Note that I sent via amazon.de, from the Netherlands using an amazon.de account, so all Schengen and all.

Strange. I removed the gin now.
