DOS ain't dead

SvarDOS [1] switched its default kernel from the FreeDOS kernel to the EDR-DOS kernel with release 20240915. The system can be switched between the two kernels by replacing the kernel package (KERNLEDR and KERNLFD).

Windows 3.11 enhanced mode seems to run fine, though I tested this mainly with 4DOS as command interpreter instead of the default SvarCOM. But a quick test spawning SvarCOM under Win 3.11 showed no obvious problems.
