Burning DVD's (Users)

Are there any DOS tools for burning DVD disks? From what I know, there are CD Recording Utilities from http://www.goldenhawk.com/freeware.htm. The newer versions are no longer compiled for DOS and the older versions do not support many of the newer drives and are not reliable. There's also a DOS port of cdrecord from http://bootcd.narod.ru/index_e.htm. However, it was not compiled for burning DVD's! So how do we burn DVD's? I use cdrecord for burning CD's. It is a good program. Has anybody compiled it with DVD burning capability?

Why kind (format) of DVDs would you like to burn? Just files (data DVD)?

I was wanting to burn a data DVD. Why should this matter though? I can successfully create any DVD file system with mkisofs from cdrtools. The problem is burning that image.

Because you didn't say, that you already have an ISO file.

AFAIK Blair Campbell is working on an updated version of Cdrtools. Show him your interest by sending an e-mail. :-)
