I noticed this too yesterday, and I couldn't download anything either (even his compile of p7zip 4.61, which is the latest although 7-Zip official is 4.62). Nevertheless, I decided to build my own, and it seems to work. (E-mail me if you want it. But it's still a fair bit slower than 7ZA + HX.)

For some reason, though, p7zip's makefile for DJGPP has a few defines that aren't needed (and uses -O, strangely), but it still builds fine ... except for using "-lsocket". Not sure what lib they mean because Richard Dawe's ls080b.zip doesn't work although I think I did accidentally build with it when using headers from WATT-32 (and it was like 200k smaller than the WATT-32 build, seemed to work too, but I don't trust it). Also, WATT-32 prints a LOT of (useless) warnings when itself is being built via GCC 4.3.2. Not sure if using something else (3.4.4) would cease some of that.

rr, you've built WATT-32 before, right? Any ideas about any of this? |

Nah, not a biggie. Seems (on very superficial inspection) to be an issue with errno.h in DJGPP 2.03p2 (among others). Not really a problem. --- Know your limits.h |

It's dead. BTW, the MPLAYER port could be hosted at ibiblio, but Jim Hall requires full and exact source for 100% GPL compliance. --- This is a LOGITECH mouse driver, but some software expect here

Well, iBiblio and the GPL probably make Jim want to have full sources anyways, and plus he IS the head of FreeDOS (which is "free" as in GPL, at least BASE), so it's kinda important to him.

I hope Michael doesn't mind me quoting his recent e-mail response to me:
