Phystechsoft.com dead (Users) |
Just noticed that Phystechsoft.com, the international site for exporting PTS-DOS 32 and PTS-DOS 2000 is dead (http://www.phystechsoft.com).
Russian site (http://phystechsoft.ru) seems to be still alive and offering both, but with no trial downloads nor downloadable updates anymore.
A real pitty noticing it is being abandoned, of course had some compatibility issues, but IMHO was the faster and more compact DOS implementation available. --- Visit my personal blog at https://www.javiergutierrezchamorro.com |

IMHO ROM-DOS is better to me.
And Paragon PTS-DOS is still available? |

IMO, MS-DOS > ROM-DOS > EDR-DOS > FreeDOS > PTS-DOS > RxDOS. |

Probably agree with you in terms of compatibility, but in terms of performance, I would say:
PTS-DOS > ROM-DOS > MS-DOS > EDR-DOS > FreeDOS > > RxDOS --- Visit my personal blog at https://www.javiergutierrezchamorro.com |
