Links for DOS already gives a user agent:
What's My User Agent?
Your User Agent is: Links (2.14; MS-DOS 6 i686; GNU C 6.2; grx)
On the other hand, Arachne can call herself whatever she wants. --- AUSREG Consultancy http://www.ausreg.com

Your full setup details (your 'user agent string'):
xChaos_Arachne (DOS /5.1.97;UE14) --- --

And this is what www.thismachine.info finds with MY Arachne:
"What Browser am I using?"
"Your full setup details (your 'user agent string'):"
"xChaos_Arachne (DOS /5.1.90JG,r1-387)"
No problem ! --- AUSREG Consultancy http://www.ausreg.com

dos and user agent string |
Hi Folks,
they are a error on my setting of "fake user agent"..
Removed the string the original user agent work and the operation system on thismachine.com it's reporter like "GNU" (why?) and in user sting report like freedos 7 .
On whathismyos.com it's reported like "dos 32 bit"..so now work fine..
OT on top of page its present on blue the link "delete text completely" , but it's a trap for dos browser :in fact it's a Javascript command!!!
Can be converted in html command R.R ?

OK, now I see what it displays with a JS capable browser
(probably using JS to probe for OS)
What Browser am I using?
You appear to be using:
Firefox 51
on Linux
What's my IP address?
Your IP address appears to be:
10.74.204.164
Your full setup details (your 'user agent string'):
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:51.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/51.0 --- --

Oh, one other point.
That's obviously not my IP address.
10.74.0.0 thru 10.74.255.255 are reserved for intranet not internet
So, it looks like it's simply reporting the intranet IP on their router. --- --
