IMHO this is has not so much sense.
More cause problem - lack of compilers backend (gcc-grade, but without gcc), we have gcc:
a) strong require use full gcc-toolchain (which has strange assembler syntax, own file formats and have "overfat" size etc)
b) this gcc is old
