I don't know if you had this bug; I didn't get enough debug information from you to reproduce it or get a clue as to what the problem might be.

Fred was very helpful with what he gave me - I was not able to reproduce it, but based on his information I was able to inspect the code for the Intel Gigabit packet driver and verify that it was throwing away runt frames.

Try the new mTCP - if it works, then you were probably getting hit by this too.
