Haha. I guess I do say that as someone who is super comfortable building UNIX/Linux software, drivers, and kernels. I started playing with Gentoo (kernel, userland, apps built from source) before moving to CRUX Linux (kernel from source and userland, apps optionally from source) as my main distro 20 years ago. I used to build WINE to rip my DVDs with DVDShrink and the early NVIDIA driver to play Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory on an unsupported Linux like CRUX.
