MS-DOS COPY: How to retain original file date/time stamp? (Users)

Oops!

I got confused by a macro in my text editor which was automatically re-saving the same file each time I ran it. So that's why the time stamp kept changing.

It wasn't the MS-DOS COPY command at all.

Duh!

So, now, is there a way to remove this redundant thread from this forum.
