That seems to be a misunderstanding. Japheth was forced to either tell his browser to use a typewriter (monospaced) font even for things which would otherwise be using a normal, proportional font. Or he has to allow websites to use fully custom fonts, as far as I understand his comment.

That is not the best solution to the problem. Just a tedious workaround. The forum should work in a way which only tells the browser to use a monospace font. Without the requirement to let the website (BTTR) select which font exactly to use. I hope the website at least does not tell the browser to download fonts somewhere? That would be the most annoying solution, but some websites do this for "perfect" styling :-p

Still, I can say that table alignment on BTTR is okay with newer Firefox versions, so the bug seems to be specific to the version used by Japheth.

PS: I wonder why FDISK tries to win obfuscation contests.
