Current FreeDOS fdisk utility (Users)

That could be the problem: You ONLY mention explicit, non-generic names for code, while for the normal text, you also mention the generic "sans-serif" after "arial or verdana".

https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_websafe_fonts.asp (where you can also see what it looks like) recommends:

Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, Tahoma or Trebuchet MS for sans-serif
Times New Roman, Georgia or Garamond for serif
Courier New for monospace and
Brush Script MT for cursive.

So I suggest to use "font-family: courier-new, courier, monospace;" for <code>.

Edit: Looks like that is what you have done when you said "you have changed the CSS a little". So we agree and have to wait for Japheth to check whether it helped.

PS: You say FDISK overflows for disks above 1 TB (above 2^31 sectors)? Not good at all!
