HX question about link.exe (DOSX)

That's not the complete truth, 32-bit Vista still has the NTVDM. However it has more restrictions, and of course all sort of DOS support is removed from 64-bit Vista and XP.

HX is indeed a very useful software. Used the official Win32 version of 7-Zip for some months now under DOS.
