HX question about link.exe (DOSX)

Depends on compilation. Programs that are in PE (Win32) format (and don't use DPMI features) should run fine, programs written for DPMI won't. You've to compile the program into a normal PE (Win32) binary and then make sure it's compatible with HX if you want to provide one file for DOS and Windows 64 bit.
