GnuPG 1.4.23 for DOS (Announce)

I was not able to reproduce this problem. When i run C:\GPG\GPG.EXE, it does not recreate C:\GNUPG\gpg.con.

I created two configuration files with different cert-digest-algo settings, one in C:\GNUPG\gpg.con and the other in C:\GPG\gpg.con.

When i run GPG.EXE --gen-key, it creates a key using the digest algo specified in C:\GNUPG\gpg.con

When i run GPG.EXE --options gpg.con --gen-key, it creates a key using the digest algo specified in C:\GPG\gpg.con

Which options are you using in gpg.con and how do the results differ from what you expected?
