Definitly, in this case, you need use UPSCALER. :-D

I don't recomend use cheap chineese upscalers (in case hardware like Commodore/Amiga - it will be lost $$$).

May be better use old stuff like "Extron DVS 204 Digital Video Scaler". Check google for Extron's upscalers is it applicable for your case. If i am not wrong - DVS-204 can upscale up to full hd.

Also, some people make and sell modern home-made upscaler's, but price is a little bit big. Used Extron you can pickup on ebay in $20-30, not big difference with china-made stuff.

PS: Also, you don't specify which one video card you use - CGA/EGA/VGA etc. Answer could be different. Here is two problem connect old hardware to modern monitor (grabber etc):
a) resolution
b) some old hardware (CGA, Commodore, Amiga) generate 15 pictures per second. In this case, also need add something like scan line generator or "scandoubler". Something like this one.

If i am not wrong, Extron solve both problem (A+B), chineese upscalers - A only (and not very good).
