- Afaik RHIDE worked on non Dos too afaik. Logical, since it originated with Red Hat. But probably no longer supported.....
- FPC IDE also has CHM help support, even on non windows. Misses some of the color setting dialogues though.
- I used the IDE for a while like you described (for development in SSH sessies to FreeBSD/Linux machines), but over time switched to Lazarus for everything but a quick edit, primarily for inactive code shading and intellisense like completion.
