Just to be fair, Damn Small Linux or DeLi Linux are both very low RAM and almost definitely will work in 32 MB. (Of course, the latter uses uclibc). There's also ZipSlack (Slackware 11), running on UMSDOS on FAT partition.

(Sorry if this isn't the best answer, but it's all I know.)
