OpenWatcom version 1.7 available | anyone tested it ? (Announce)

I looked into WASM, WLINK and WD source code. Once I made a change to WLINK. This worked, but I was successful only because I know "by heart" the formats of binaries and object modules. Besides the lack of comments there is another disadvantage IMO: the WD tools want to cover all platforms and formats, which inevitably requires to implement many "layers" and makes the source more difficult to understand than necessary.
