I didn't get a crash in FD with PGE enabled and Display.exe. Since this option isn't important, the best workaround is to remove it from Jemm's command line. You can try to set it dynamically from the command prompt once AUTOEXEC.BAT has been run, and I'd be very surprised if it crashes then as well.
