I guess when has time. From my digging when looking into this last time I remember data mining the info that he has now left uni and started a new job.

I will do at some point if I remember. In short my own suggestions were along the lines of reducing the need or having the option of not needing an external memory manager and getting the code into a single 64k segment (e.g. COM file).

Not essential but I would also suggest that he used some form of basic RLE (Run Length Encoding) on the images he uses. Indeed someone else has already done the work for him as there was some a good 128 byte 320x200x256 PCX display program also written in assembler with source that was doing the rounds at one point in the 1990's - I seem to remember it was freeware. Interestingly a PCX file header is 128 bytes in length meaning that yes with that code and a 320x200x256 PCX you could easily do the obvious fairly easily. ASM is great :)
