My expertise:

RETIRED System Manager on several mainframes.
You could say a System Manager on DOS and WIN7 too.

I have found an corrected the problem.
A driver conflict.

For whatever reason SHCDX33E must be loaded inside
c.sys on MY system via install=, not from a.bat. It
works JUST FINE this way.

In a.bat and from the command line it just acts wierd.

More details will follow tomorrow.
