UNRTFM - convert RTF to other documet formats, most notably (Miscellaneous)

Under development again (0.21.9 is out), but latest DGJPP binary is 0.21.6 ... various DGJPP mirrors are differently outdated, but 0.21.6 is the very latest.

Hints (the bad way: http://users.freebasic-portal.de/dos386/unrtfm.png ) :

- use "-P" switch and put it at the beginning of commandline
- use forward slashes "/" as backslashes do break the UNRTF code (could be fixed...)
- option "--html" is not needed as it's the default
- output goes to screen
- saving images doesn't work (??? tested 0.21.5 only)

Still broken in 0.21.6.

Switch "-P ." is accepted now, of course it would be even better to search the "con" filles in the same directory where the EXE is located, rather than hardcoded crazy absolute path "/dev/env/DGJDIR/shared/unrtf/". Also the binary is pretty bloated, compared to the tiny source code.

I agree, but I don't think *nix supports such a feature. Feel free to pester Juan on comp.os.msdos.djgpp to implement it. ("Patches welcome", sigh.)

You must've gotten the 2.03p2 (current) binary. Although even the 2.04 (beta) is big (if you include the .DXE files he's using for i18n these days). From your FTP link, it seems that urtf205b.zip was much smaller than later versions. No idea why, but if curious, that would be where I'd check.

P.S. If recent ports are any indication, I think you can "probably" reconfigure the sources and recompile with i18n disabled. I honestly have no idea why he enables it by default.

I think I totally misunderstood you here. Sure, automatic searching of config files in the same subdir where .EXE lives would be more convenient, but as even you say, "-P" works fine.

Actually, I noticed that "-P" must come before other switches, so that may be why it didn't work for you the first time.
