DOS and radio players? (Users)

Hi folks,
An interesting question posed on another list.
Is there a DOS program that allows one to use say a site like audacy.com
to reach the radio stations provided there?
The person asking spoke of Dosamp or realplayer for DOS which go back a
ways, and I believe? never provided that function.
What about DOS podcast applications?
Thanks,
Karen

You wrote radio but I think you meant audio streaming. It looks like mpxplay supports streaming audio files over http & ftp. You'll need to find a service that supports streaming over basic http or ftp though. Most services need a companion app or web site, login, plugins, etc.
