Building FreeBE/AF version 1.2 using recent GCC versions (Developers)

As FreeBE/AF's installer (from freebb12.zip) didn't work for me, I had to make some changes to the source code for building the stub VESA driver using GCC version 4.x.x.

I'm not sure, if I did it correctly, but it worked well for me. ;-) Feel free to report any bugs or extend it to build the other drivers as well.

Download: freebe12_gcc4_patch.zip (2.59 KB)

I also have tried to compile it, but haven't finished it. So I am happy, that you have done this ;-) Could you upload it to delorie.com, so that it will be available from any mirror of Djgpp?!

PS after looking at the diff-file: The asm-lines were the reason, that I haven't finished it ;-)

I don't like to upload partial patches. Better make FreeBE/AF version 1.2.1 or 1.3.

Let's hope, mine are correct. :-D
