backup-program (Users)

Hallo,

does somebody know a good backup-program for DOS? Which doesn't backup all files every time but only files which have been changed or which are new.

With an enhanced Xcopy there is no problem, also not with 4DOS, which I am using... but maybe there is a good backup-program out there?

The xcopy command of 4DOS supports the feature I need, it is the parameter /U (update).

Bye

I use XXCOPY - it does everything you can imagine and more. It's the most flexible and powerful backup prog I've ever found - a lot more than an just an enhanced xcopy. Works perfectly from batch files, which is definitely good - too many command options to remember, and type repeatedly.

Info-Zip's ZIP has both -f (changed files only) and -u (changed and new files). Also, 7-Zip's 7ZA supports u (update) and various -u options (although I've never used all its various options yet).
