	This is very good news, but when does it come out? Apparently the digital version is ready (and will be free to PC owners of the game), but he's waiting for a physical floppy release to be finalized (e.g. he's still working on the printed manual!). 	The (very limited) Collector's Box is available for pre-order at 25% off. The floppy-only version is half of that price. But digital-only is even cheaper at 2/3 of the floppy-only price. (But even digital-only is 70% off for today only. Grab it on sale while you can.) Sorry, I just felt like I had to say that.

I downloaded the digital copy for DOS.
It is like first epizodes of GTA but in retro graphics. It is really fun - only the sound is maybe to 8bit-ish :-)

	I've never played the original DOS version of GTA. Heck, I didn't even know there was one. I kind of skipped that generation (although I'm not much on video games anymore anyways). Here's one guy playing it. Not quite the same, but similar I guess?? Also, there's now an AMA on Reddit for RCR:486. Though, again, I've not used Reddit, and I honestly don't have many questions. Any takers?

He did a live stream on Twitch, but I missed it (and it's not archived online??).

I did beat the story mode (DOS version, natch) back on Aug. 3. I haven't played much since then, though there's still more to unlock and some achievements. Honestly, I thought the PC speaker sound effects (even without music) were icing on the cake, so I highly enjoyed it.

They start shipping the boxes with physical floppies on Monday. I've already heard that LazyGameReviews beta-tested this, and he's a boxed game diehard, so I fully expect him to review it soon.

But Ancient DOS Games already beat him to the punch with a video, so I'm going to watch that right now.
