dos serial port on windows (Emulation)

Hi all,

i've a old software for programming transceivers running on dos
Now i've try to run it on win 7 32 bit with ntdvme .
The dos program by default send and read data from radio via com 2 port
Bits Per Second: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: NONE
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: Xon/Xoff
I've setted under windows this data on usb port calling com2 .
When i try to read data under windows i receive a message regarding impossibity for the system to open com port2.
I've make same test under dosemu, and the problem remain the same..
i've found a similar radio programmed on dos via DOSBOX , but the e mail it's wrong so i can't contact the sitemaster for ask informations:

Someone have exeperience to control dos com ports under win ?

Hm, WinXP NTVDM doesn't have such problem, I still sometime use old TERM95.EXE and it works fine under XP also at 115200. I know TaoDOS long time but don't have full ver.

Hi all,

PARTIALLY solved!

1st : a problem on hardware .. require a mod in usb interface for emulate older com interface

2nd NTDVE don't work anymore, but dosemu standard version work fine.
I've installed last version and setting all com ports like realport .
The data flow it's correct and the device it's programmed.
Under ntdve continue to appear a message error regarding the inestence of com2.
(why?) :-(
