Poqet PC Classic (eBay) (Miscellaneous)

Okay, so it's a bit expensive (but new and actually much cheaper than originally), just wanted to mention it to you guys as I found it interesting. :-D

Nice DOS handheld. I didn't know this. I own Atari portfolio which has much worse display and less resources. Probably the best DOS handheld is HP 200LX but its rare. Once I saw it in some secondhand for about 2000 CZK...

Already sold for $500! (Even though it originally was $1999 when it first was produced, I'm still surprised. I expected a longer bidding process. Heh, oh well. Hope someone enjoys it!)

It would be nice if someone develop such handheld using modern electronic components. We may have plenty of RAM, CF storage, color OLED display, some version of low power x86 processor... Something like http://www.open-pandora.org :-)

I still own a HP 200LX and four Portfolios, but have no time to use these. :-|

Yes, it's nice toy but lacks a lot of modern features. I played with pofo before ~8 years but now use ipaq PDA, which I can use for much more things (wifi/BT/USB connectivity, GPS nav., eBooks reading, MP3/video, etc...) and also have DOSBOX there :)

In January I've added a link to your Portfolio pages to http://www.pofowiki.de/doku.php?id=www:links#portfolio-seiten.
