JPC is the fast pure Java x86 PC emulator (Users)

Does anyone remember JPC announced in 2007? Looks like speed evolved a lot for an emulator.

Since 2009 JPC is also used on dosdose.com to "play DOS games online". (But one can also extract the raw HDD images from the Java cache folder for transferring to real DOS hardware or use in Bochs, QEMU, Virtual PC, ... Of course, one should own all needed licenses.)

JPC Java x86 PC emulator + Dioscuri (JPC) modular emulator

Yes :)) I didn't know the project had now moved to sourceforge though, indeed it seems that most links to the original JPC site which was here http://www-jpc.physics.ox.ac.uk/ now redirect to the JPC's new home. This Oxford Uni Google search link does however return additional JPC information and includes a link to the archive of the original JPC site which has a bit more JPC technical information than the newer sourceforge site currently appears to have. See also the Dioscuri modular emulator project.
