Bochs 2.3.5 available (Win32, Linux, sources) (Announce)

The Bochs Project released version 2.3.5 on 16 September 2007.

Brief summary of changes:
- Critical problems fixed for x86-64 support in CPU and Bochs internal debugger
- ACPI support
- The release compiled with x86-64 and ACPI
- Hard disk emulation supports ATA-6 (LBA48 addressing, UDMA modes)
- Added emulation of Intel SSE4.1 instruction set

Possible bug: Bochs 2.3.5 using QEMU images

All the "plain" images I created with QEMU-IMG are no longer readable with Bochs 2.3.5 (No problems with v2.3).

I used the "translation=auto" parameter, but the auto-detection no longer works:

The bad thing is, I cannot circumvent this bug by setting a valid disk geometry manually, because Bochs v2.3.5 does not accept the "correct" values.

Same here, but I had empty images available only. ;-) Please create a bug report at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=12580&atid=112580
