VBEPM driver for Win98 and DOS applications (Users)

Under Windows 98 I use the VBEPM display driver by Bear Windows.
It works great but the DOS applications don't see the VESA interface more.

Does exist any solution for it?

You need to use the older version <<Release version pre-beta 2008.03.23>>
I experienced the same problem with the latest VBEMP <<pre-beta 2008.10.21>>.

Try to ask BW directly he would explain it. I didn't try to run VESA app under VBEMP (I use it only under WNT4)

Here's reply from BW:

Due to bugs in fullscreen mode (with some DOS progams also) I make a decision to hook and disable VESA BIOS calls in latest VBEMP driver [2008.10.21]. Hope it helps.
If any one wish to get "unlocked" version feel free to contact me.

I tried BW's unlocked driver yesterday and it worked fine. I tested my DJGPP VESA prog. and it found VBE as under plain DOS. When switching back to windows it correctly redraw - no artefact remains. I think it would work for most dos progs, try yourself :)
