It says the same about the card capabilities and modes as I found
using INT10.4F. So does vesainfo.exe, a program that came with Acrobat
for DOS. In addition, vesatest starts testing the video modes and
crashes after a few screens.

In addition, the card supports only one memory window and 24 bit color.

I did , and the only difference it made was that MUPDF reports
VESA 2.0 instead of 1.2 in its start message. BTW, I also tried
Acrobat for DOS with univbe.drv installed, and it made very little
or no difference.

IMHO, the problem is that MUPDF demands too much CPU, video or
memory performance to run in this machine.
