The issue isn't with the sentence itself but with its connection to the previous events. Jack asked you to remove your links to his drivers - he didn't want them to have anything to do with this forum. Your sentence "we have ?DMA drivers from Jack Ellis" shows that you ignore his author's will and you don't care that your reluctance to remove a link did cost the DOS users the future development of UDMA, even though you knew very well that this would inevitably happen in this case.
