Thanks for testing, this is what we expected. I think it would be needed to unload current AHCI BIOS Int13h services and reload standard BIOS for IDE mode - if BIOS still contains it at all...
But if you try to run some low level disk utility from a floppy it should now see the HDD via standard IDE port.
