BD-R with UDF filesystem (Miscellaneous)

posted by RayeR Homepage, CZ, 27.12.2020, 21:10

Thanks for sharing experience, just confirms that DVD-RAM are not long-lasting as expected - I read ~30yrs. As normal DVD+R you can still buy Data Tresor Disc or Verbatim M-Dics that claims to use some long-lasting anorganic dye (not all burners can burn them). I read that Verbatim also eneded the production and now only the rest is going to sold out so I have to buy some soon till available. BD-R are here for shorter time and not much spreaded around users so there's much less experiences so I don't belive it woud be better. I can see there is aslo M-Disc BD 100GB (4-layer), quite expansive but still with with better ratio GB/$ than DVD, but I didn't find any PC internal burner in our shops that supports 4-layers, they can do only 2.
