Soundcard emulation in DOS on non-legacy hardware. Possible? (Emulation)

Thanks! The project is still at a very early stage, and still very rough. Fishing out a video BIOS and reinitializing the video card turns out to be the relatively easy part (!), at least on my machine. Now I am a bit stuck at figuring out how to Draw The Rest Of The Dang BIOS. :-|

I will probably send out a request for help at some point in time, and let you know. :-)
