DOS network configuration (Users)
Hi everyone,
I am not sure if I am posting to the correct category, so please don't mind if I do...
I was wondering about how many people, who use network and internet in DOS, actually use BOOTP/DHCP or configuration files (wattcp.cfg) to configure their network (like IP, netmask, gateway, dns server, ...).
So, do you prefer automatic configuration, if possible?
Do you prefer or have to use wattcp.cfg or similar files?
And, why? :)
Any opinions appreciated.
All the best,
Stefan / AH
