Maybe. BTW, the only thing 2.8.1 has over 2.7.2.3 is wimpy 586 optimizations and stabs debug info, not exactly useful for a 386, is it?

I'm honestly not sure why I included AR.EXE at all, but I guess I figured some people might find libraries more convenient (and some makefiles require it). I'm sure I could remove some of the superfluous DPMI servers and stick with good ol' CWSDPMI r5.

Does the 386 have a VGA? If not, I should remove the 4k tiny EZEDIT. (And even then that was a bonus. I assume most people have their own preferred editors.)

EDIT: Did I mention that 2.7.2.3 is a billion times easier to build than later versions? Heck, I was able to build it on my P166 with SFNs only (!) in ten minutes. And the sources are only like 6 MB .tar.bz2'd (unlike billion megs later, probably mostly due to more frontends). :-)
