Well, I hate to revive an old thread but if anybody cares ...

1). My mini DJGPP floppy package no longer needs a .tar since 7zdec from LZMA SDK 9.04 beta supports 'x' (extract with dirs) now. I also added a few tiny .C examples (not mine, mostly from IOCCC).

2). GNU Emacs 23.0.95 pretest was released recently. I did build and test in FreeDOS a bit. Eli even fixed a frames bug, which then caused me to recompile the main .EXE. All this info can be found on the corresponding comp.os.msdos.djgpp thread.
