mTCP interfacing with TINY remote control for DOS? (Announce)

I think probably the same here. However revisiting it the java remote control aspsect is interesting, although watchout is obviously insecure (as he notes).

Ah yes. I did note Josh's comments that without it things would be tooooo slow which is fairly obvious when you think about it. Still anyone who has ever experienced any speed below 2400bps for long periods will know unpleasant but better than nothing ;)
