Well, new subvariants of COVID-19 Omicron are still springing up, as late as last month (April 2022). So this whole COVID-19 pandemic is still very much in the present tense. :-|

If your local news is not talking about it, it probably just means that they decided not to pay attention, for whatever reason.

And I imagine that for someone in (or near) 🇺🇦, certain matters might be more urgent than getting the next dose of the Moderna vaccine. But that does not mean the virus is no longer around...   Stay safe.
