That's what I said (in my later "EDIT:", maybe you missed it), Doom Legacy hasn't been compiled for DOS since 2003. Now, maybe it still compiles, but I heavily doubt it. Besides, in older FreeDoom builds (which is only data, BTW, meant to replace the commercial-only Doom .WADs), there was some bug with the bridge switch not working on the ooze/assembly line level (or whatever you want to call it). In short, I really recommend Eternity, even if old and (DOS) abandoned, since I don't know of any better ones. :-/
