Why do you need a DOS32A/TCPIP version? (Just because? :-) )
I prefer the DOS4G version, now it has got the same functions,
like the win32 version (DLL and TCPIP/FTP handling).
I don't want to release more different versions, with different extenders and with different functions enabled/disabled.

In player mode, the files are recognized by content too (you can rename an AVI file to MP4, program will play it properly), but in commander mode (show all filenames), they are recognized by extensions only. It's not a bug, I've simply disabled the "detect files by content" in commander mode, because the content-autodetection (of Mpxplay) is a very slow thing.
btw. the commander mode is made to copy/delete files, which are not visible in player mode and to see extra informations (filesize, filedate), not to play files with unknown extensions...

I have only SB16/SBpro emulation on Audigy 1/2 cards. I will test it again.
But the "noise" and speed problems mean usually wrong card, irq or dma initialization. If it works properly at me, I cannot do anything with it.

Where can I find such "wrong" OGG/OGM files? My own encoded ogg files have no timing problems.
btw. I will work on the demuxer/decoder bugs in the next (v1.58) version only.
